For almost 100 years, people have argued over whether the glass is half full or half empty. The elites love to play this word game, telling us it’s all about “attitude” and “perspective.” They want to keep us distracted, focused on how we look at things instead of seeing the big picture. But here’s the kicker—while we bicker over the glass, the left has their eyes glued to the real prize: the pitcher.
The pitcher is where the power really is. It’s the source, the supply, the freedom to choose if you’ll fill your glass or even throw it away if you want. But the liberal establishment isn’t interested in individuals having the pitcher. No, they’d rather keep it locked up in the back room, doling out drips and drops only when they decide you’ve “earned” it. That’s not freedom. That’s control.
Look at how globalists and big government experts say they’re working for “equality” and “fairness.” All that means is they’ll ration resources and call it compassion. They decide who gets what, when, and how much. Americans know better. The real test for freedom isn’t some glass—it’s whether you’re allowed to go get the pitcher or if you have to beg for another drop.
Bankers, politicians, and high-minded academics have played this half-empty/half-full mind game for decades. They’ll pat citizens on the head and tell them to “think positive,” as if all our problems would go away if we just accept less. Meanwhile, they keep the pitcher behind locked doors, for themselves and their friends. They tell working families to be grateful for what little they have, but make sure the government never goes thirsty.
If someone tells you to stare at the glass and argue about whether it’s half full or half empty, ask them the real question: Why do you get to hold the pitcher? Real freedom is about having access to the source, not just accepting the scraps. Maybe it’s time Americans demanded the pitcher back—and refused to be satisfied with anything less.
