Instead of honoring a sacred celebration, he basically implied that silence would be better than acknowledging this holy day at all. That’s the modern left for you: if they can’t reshape tradition, they’d rather erase it.
It’s shocking but not surprising. This is what happens when progressives get their hands on power in America’s biggest cities. They preach tolerance, but that only seems to apply if you hang a rainbow flag outside city hall. When it comes to Christian values? Suddenly they want everyone to hush up and move along. When will leaders like Mamdani learn that faith isn’t some taboo subject? Christians aren’t going to keep quiet, no matter how much the left wishes they would.
