The White House is trying to sell the American people on a so-called “responsible” budget plan for 2027, promising to trim $73 billion from government funding. That’s the headline, and liberals are already patting themselves on the back, but don’t be fooled. This is political theater—plain and simple.
While Biden’s team brags about cutting billions, the real mess is still in plain sight. Congress hasn’t even managed to fund all federal agencies for THIS year. Even worse, the Department of Homeland Security is basically shut down—our borders left wide open, and the people in charge can’t find the time or courage to fix it. This is the party that wants you to trust them with your future? More like a clown car of incompetence.
Liberals love to talk about shrinking government when it earns them praise, but when it comes time to actually do the work, they drop the ball every time. They let the bureaucracy bloat, then claim victory for making tiny cuts years down the road. Meanwhile, Americans are the ones left paying the price for their failed priorities. If they really cared about taxpayers, they’d cut the bureaucracy now instead of making empty promises for 2027—years after most of them will be out of office or blaming someone else for their failures.
The border is in crisis, the country is deeper in debt than ever, and the White House’s answer is a PR stunt. Do they really expect Americans to believe this paltry budget cut means anything when Homeland Security isn’t even funded? Maybe we’re supposed to ignore that left-wing politicians are too busy playing political games to actually protect our country.
Once again, the so-called progressives prove they can’t handle the basics of government. They talk a big game, but in reality, they can’t keep the lights on or the border secure. How many Americans have to suffer before these elites are held accountable for their failures? Maybe the real question is: when will the left stop pretending and start actually leading?
