It’s no secret that America has suffered from a lack of vision lately, thanks to weak leadership, bloated bureaucracy, and constant pandering to woke elites. But this week, NASA reminded the world of what the United States is truly capable of when it puts its mind to something real. While liberals spend their time rewriting history and apologizing for American greatness, the Artemis II mission saw a proud crew lift off from Kennedy Space Center, headed straight for the stars — and for the first time since the 1970s, we’re sending astronauts to circle the moon.
Commander Reid Wiseman, along with Christina Koch, Victor Glover, and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen, are making history. Unlike the never-ending hand-wringing we see from the globalists at the United Nations, these heroes have real courage. They’re not interested in pushing diversity quotas or fighting imaginary threats — they’re focused on pushing the boundaries of human achievement. While the Left tries to dumb down our kids and destroy our values, Americans are reaching higher than ever.
Instead of kneeling at the altar of climate alarmism or gender studies, here we have a crew devoted to science, exploration, and hard work. The Artemis II journey takes them closer to the moon than they will ever be to Earth. That’s farther than any politician in Washington would ever dare to dream. It’s easy to sit in an ivory tower and mock American exceptionalism, but nobody can ignore the power of what we witnessed this Easter week.
Nor can we ignore how rarely the mainstream media gives credit where it’s due. You won’t hear CNN cheering this accomplishment, unless they can cram in a lecture about “inclusivity” or “colonialism.” What you definitely won’t see is liberals celebrating the faith, grit, and raw American spirit on display. NASA’s Artemis II crew didn’t get on that rocket because of identity politics. They got there through skill, dedication, and the desire to do something bigger than themselves.
America doesn’t need more apologies. America needs more risk-takers, trailblazers, and leaders who aren’t afraid to speak the truth — and blast past mediocrity. Watching Artemis II soar towards the moon is a powerful reminder of what happens when we ignore the noise from the Left and just do what America does best: lead the way. Maybe the next time the world needs a message of hope, we’ll look to NASA, not a bunch of virtue-signaling bureaucrats. Isn’t it time we remembered what it really means to reach for the stars?
