Christians in Myanmar are living a nightmare, and the mainstream media barely bats an eye. Since the brutal military coup in 2021, the regime has gone all-in on targeting innocent believers. Churches stand empty or in ruins, families are torn apart, and yet the so-called “human rights champions” of the left seem more worried about offending global elites than defending real victims.
Myanmar’s ruthless military government hasn’t hidden its contempt for Christians. Instead of standing up for these families, the world’s powerful and the left-wing establishment offer nothing but empty words and virtue-signaling. When it comes to defending Christians overseas, Democrats and their globalist friends look the other way. Imagine if this were happening to another faith—there’d be round-the-clock outrage, Congressional hearings, and celebrities rushing to the microphone. But Christians? Apparently, they’re expendable.
The woke crowd preaches tolerance, but where’s the tolerance for Christians under fire? Liberals in Washington love to scold middle America about “inclusion” and “diversity,” but they’re nowhere to be found when bombs are dropped on churches in Myanmar. Instead, they focus on appeasing China, chasing their climate change fantasies, and flooding our borders—anything but helping persecuted Christians.
It’s just the latest example of anti-Christian bias infecting global policy. While hardworking Americans are told that speaking about their faith is offensive, the Biden administration and its pals reward regimes that trample religious liberty. If standing up for Christians in Myanmar doesn’t fit their narrative, the left quietly changes the subject.
How many more Christians have to suffer before the so-called leaders of the free world remember what real courage and real compassion look like? It’s time to stop pretending—persecution against Christians is real, it’s evil, and it’s being ignored because it doesn’t suit the progressive agenda. Are Americans supposed to sit back, stay silent, and trust these same “experts” who’ve failed Christians around the world at every turn?
