California’s First Partner Just Went After Trump and Women Everywhere Are Rolling Their Eyes

California’s so-called “first partner,” Jennifer Siebel Newsom, is at it again—lecturing America about a “war on women” that exists only in liberal fantasy. Nobody voted for her, but that doesn’t stop her from hopping on a soapbox and spewing attacks against President Trump. This time, she wants us to believe Trump is anti-woman because he supposedly didn’t keep Kristi Noem at Homeland Security or Pam Bondi at Justice. Is this real leadership or just the next episode of left-wing virtue signaling? The answer is obvious.

Siebel Newsom and her ilk love to shout about patriarchy and “systemic disrespect.” But let’s get real. The only disrespect here is coming from California’s own elite, who act like political dynasties are their birthright. How about some humility from these coastal liberals before they sermonize the rest of the country? Maybe the real “systemic problem” is the arrogance of families like the Newsoms, who think their last name earns them the authority to decide who’s fit for national security.

It’s laughable watching liberal figureheads pretend to stand up for women, when their own party’s policies have done nothing but hurt real American families. If anyone is devaluing women, it’s the Democrats—obsessed with identity politics but clueless about keeping our streets safe or stretching a middle-class paycheck. California’s high taxes, crime rates, and failing public schools tell the true story about liberal “leadership.” Maybe Jennifer should look around her own mansion before throwing stones.

And since when did being a governor’s spouse give you the platform to bash a former president and redefine national security policy? This is classic left-wing overreach. Liberals see themselves as untouchable and wise—but most Americans are tired of the lectures, the drama, and the phony moral superiority. Being married to Gavin Newsom should not make anyone a spokesperson for American women.

Jennifer Siebel Newsom’s attacks don’t move the needle, and she certainly isn’t helping her husband’s political fortunes. If anything, her out-of-touch rants only remind Americans of everything that’s wrong with entitled coastal elites. Here’s a thought: maybe next time, she should let real voters—and not self-appointed “partners”—decide what counts as progress for women in this country. Or is that too much democracy for the Newsom clan to handle?
