Californians aren’t running from sunshine—they’re fleeing a sinking ship. Taxes are crushing, crime is skyrocketing, and the streets are filled with human misery. But instead of fixing the disaster, Governor Gavin Newsom thinks the best way to handle it is to drop $19 million of taxpayers’ hard-earned money into the laps of a high-priced New York PR firm. Their job? Whitewash California’s mess and make Newsom look good for a presidential run.
Let’s get this straight: Californians are struggling. People are leaving in droves for places with freedom, opportunity, and safety. The American Dream isn’t alive in California—it’s in a coma. Businesses get strangled with regulation, criminals walk free, and families can’t afford to pay their bills. Newsom’s answer is not more safety, more jobs, or more justice. It’s more spin.
This is the classic liberal playbook: push disaster, ignore reality, and throw millions at image consultants to distract from failure. Instead of fixing California’s schools, homeless camps, or broken justice system, Newsom wants to hide the truth behind glossy ads cooked up in Manhattan boardrooms. Taxpayers get stuck with the bill, while globalist elites get rich and Democrats get to pretend everything is fine.
The hypocrisy stinks. Newsom talks about equity and caring for the little guy, but he’s spending millions to keep his own political dreams alive. The people who really pay are the hardworking folks stuck footing the PR bill while their neighbors pack up and move to Texas or Florida.
Why won’t liberals ever face their own wreckage? Could it be that they’re more interested in power than in serving real people? Californians are voting with their feet—and it’s not Newsom’s spin but his record they’re running from.
