Once again, President Trump and First Lady Melania showed America how real leaders celebrate our traditions. This week’s Easter Egg Roll at the White House was a breath of fresh air. You didn’t see nervous handlers hustling them around or hiding them from the public. Trump and Melania were right there, smiling and having fun with the kids—engaged, unscripted, and totally in touch with regular Americans.
It’s a sharp contrast to what we’ve come to expect from the left. Previous administrations needed every move stage-managed, almost afraid that the truth might slip through. Progressives seem more interested in putting on a phony performance than actually being present with the people. Maybe they’re scared of slipping up when there’s no teleprompter. Or maybe they just can’t relate to the heart of this nation.
And let’s talk about those Easter Bunny memes making the rounds. The left loves to mock, tossing around cheap jokes hoping they’ll stick, but all they did this time was distract from what should have been a day about faith, family, and community. Meanwhile, Trump’s celebrations actually bring the nation together. The difference is glaring: one side ridicules and divides, the other leads and inspires.
This is exactly what happens when globalist interests and woke activists hijack our traditions. They forget what Easter means to millions of Americans. The loudest progressives are quick to attack anyone who refuses to bow to their narrative, but they can’t stand seeing people enjoy old-fashioned, wholesome fun. And you know why? Because it reminds them of what they’ve lost—touch with real American values.
Liberals can keep their memes and their cringey attempts at humor. Trump is too busy delivering results and restoring pride in the country. Maybe it’s time to ask: when will the left grow up and actually join America in celebrating the things that matter?
