Sanctuary cities, those safe havens for illegal immigrants, think they can flout federal law and still enjoy all the perks—including easy international air travel. Mullin is done letting them have it both ways.
Why should Democrat-run cities get top-tier customs help at their international airports if they’re stabbing federal law enforcement in the back? They’re refusing to cooperate on immigration, all while raking in the benefits. It’s classic liberal hypocrisy—demanding special treatment for breaking the rules. They want open borders, but they also want federal agents bending over backwards for them when the planes land.
Globalists love this mess. They want a borderless world where criminals and drugs flow in unchecked. That’s music to the ears of radical progressives running big cities into the ground. New York, San Francisco, Chicago—these places roll out sanctuary status for illegal immigrants, and then act shocked when chaos follows. But now, Mullin is putting airports on notice. Refuse to partner on immigration? Watch your customs support go up in smoke.
Despite all their talk about “safety” and “inclusion,” sanctuary cities draw a target on the backs of law-abiding Americans. They’d rather side with illegal immigrants over their own citizens. That’s not compassion—that’s betrayal. It’s about time federal leaders drew a hard line.
If sanctuary city politicians want to put their own ideology ahead of national security, let them face the real consequences. No cooperation, no special airport treatment.
