The truth is out, and anyone with common sense should be furious. Nearly 20,000 illegal aliens have been nabbed by ICE in the Washington, D.C. area just since January 2025. Let that number sink in. That’s not a trickle—it’s a tidal wave of illegal entrants, flooding into the heart of our nation’s capital while leftist politicians turn a blind eye and pretend it’s not their problem.
The left keeps assuring us that the border is “secure” and that everything is just fine. But how can anyone buy that nonsense? Twenty thousand people didn’t just stumble into the D.C. region by accident. That’s the result of open-borders insanity, pushed relentlessly by globalist elites and soft-on-crime progressives who care more about political power than American jobs, neighborhoods, or families.
If the numbers are this bad in Washington, D.C.—the so-called “safe haven” for Democrats and their bureaucratic buddies—imagine what’s happening everywhere else. The elites love to lecture the rest of us about “compassion” for illegal migrants, but when the real impact lands in their own backyard, suddenly there’s a scramble. ICE is forced to do the dirty work, cleaning up after years of reckless, incompetent policies. Regular Americans are left wondering whose side the government is really on.
Meanwhile, the same liberal politicians who encourage sanctuary policies and virtue-signal about welcoming everyone are nowhere to be found when it comes time to face the consequences. They throw up their hands, blame everyone but themselves, and ignore the crime, chaos, and strain on local resources that comes with unchecked illegal immigration. Where’s all that “progressive” compassion for the law-abiding citizens footing the bill?
No more excuses, no more lies. America deserves secure borders and leaders who actually believe in putting their own people first. If twenty thousand illegals can make it into the capital, what’s to stop a million more from pouring into small towns and suburbs across the country? Maybe it’s time for the left to stop preaching and start protecting the nation they’re supposed to serve.
