When will America learn that Democrats are not the saints they pretend to be? These are the so-called “leaders” liberals want to send back to Washington? Instead of serving hard-working Americans, Rep. Gonzalez was more interested in his own scandalous distractions. Now a promising staffer, Regina Santos-Aviles, is dead—her life tragically cut short by suicide after their affair was exposed in 2024. Where is the outcry from the left? Where are the hashtags and candlelight vigils for someone ruined by the very people in power who pretend to know best?
Liberals never fail to lecture us on “women’s rights,” “empowerment,” and “safe workplaces.” But when the predators are from their own party? Suddenly it’s all swept under the rug. Guess they’re too busy chasing imaginary Russian spies or trying to tell our kids what gender they are to concern themselves with real corruption and abuse of power in Congress. This isn’t just hypocrisy—it’s a slap in the face to every American who thought their government cared about integrity.
Gonzalez only decided to resign after the details of his affair finally came out—and after Regina Santos-Aviles paid the ultimate price. If that’s not proof that liberal politicians care more about protecting themselves than the people who work for them, I don’t know what is. How many more secrets are hiding in the halls of Congress, while Democrats lecture the rest of us about ethics?
Maybe it’s time voters wake up. Which is worse—the sick behavior of these so-called leaders or the silence from their own party when they’re caught? If Democrats can’t police their own, maybe the American people need to do it for them this November.
