The United Nations just embarrassed itself—again. The Security Council had a chance to take a real stand in the Strait of Hormuz, thanks to Bahrain’s push for action. But what did they do instead? They folded, caving to pressure from hostile nations. This is just more proof that the UN doesn’t care about peace or American interests. It’s all a big show, and guess what—America is always the target.
While Iran keeps stirring chaos in the Middle East, liberal bureaucrats at the UN wring their hands and do absolutely nothing. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most important shipping lanes. America and its allies need safe passage. But instead of defending freedom, UN elites let global bullies—like Russia and China—run the show. It’s disgraceful.
Every time America tries to lead on the world stage, liberal diplomats and their globalist pals stab us in the back. They talk about “fairness” and “multilateralism,” but the only thing they’re consistent about is betraying Western values and giving terrorists a pass. The fact that this resolution failed says everything you need to know about the UN’s priorities.
Bahrain’s efforts should’ve been a slam dunk. Instead, the so-called international community let politics get in the way of security. Why? Because it’s easier to play nice with dictators than to stand up for what’s right. Tehran and its backers walked away smiling—meanwhile, American sailors and our allies get left in harm’s way.
How many times do we have to see these liberal-led diplomatic disasters before we wake up and stop pretending the UN matters? The Security Council just proved, once again, that it’s all talk, no backbone, and—worst of all—no concern for American lives. Maybe it’s time we stop footing the bill for this circus and start protecting our interests the American way. Is that really too much to ask?
