It’s about time someone said what everyone’s been thinking: America’s so-called “allies” can’t be trusted with our most sensitive secrets. President Trump made the right call when he kept Germany in the dark about the US strike against Iran. After years of watching European leaders bend over backwards to please rogue regimes, who in their right mind would expect them to keep their mouths shut? The sad truth is, Germany’s leadership is more concerned about their globalist approval ratings than protecting American lives.
Liberals in Washington love to preach about “international cooperation,” but does anyone believe the Germans wouldn’t have run straight to the press—or worse, right to Tehran? That kind of naivety is a threat to our troops and our country. The left has always been quick to trust anyone except their own president. They just don’t understand what “America First” actually means.
Germany showed its hand over and over. They refuse to pay their NATO share. They openly criticize the US for taking a hard line on terror. And let’s not forget, Berlin’s politicians fall all over themselves to make deals with Iran. That’s not partnership; that’s sabotage. President Trump watched years of these globalist games and finally decided enough was enough. He knew the risk. He chose to take action to actually protect Americans, instead of playing diplomatic games for some photo op in Brussels.
This is what leadership looks like—hard choices, clear lines, and unshakable loyalty to your own people. The left hates that because it exposes how spineless their policies really are. Progressives want us to apologize and share everything like we’re some second-rate player on the world stage. They forget that when America keeps its cards close, the entire free world is safer.
Maybe instead of whining about hurt feelings in Berlin, Democrats should start asking why American blood and secrets should be risked just to keep European bureaucrats happy. Or better yet, why any president before Trump put so much blind trust in leaders who never miss a chance to lash out at the United States. At the end of the day, would you rather have a president who protects you, or one who protects the feelings of foreign politicians?
