It’s become a tired pattern: the same left-wing insiders shuffling from one cushy job to another, all while pretending they’re experts on everything. Take the latest head-shaker—Joe Biden’s former FTC chair now landing a new gig advising leftist politicians and lecturing the next generation at, you guessed it, Columbia University. It’s a game of musical chairs, with a handful of elites always ending up on top, no matter how badly they manage things.
These are the people who waste years pushing anti-business policies in Washington, blowing up regulations and choking opportunity. They leave behind trails of failed programs and red tape, but instead of being held accountable, they get handed influence over the young minds who will run tomorrow’s economy. It’s a reward system that spits in the face of everyday Americans who actually work hard for their paychecks.
Compare that with how conservative leaders build their teams. President Trump surrounded himself with people who earned their positions through loyalty and real achievement—not just because they’re members of some coastal elite club. On the right, you get ahead if you can get things done. On the left, you get ahead by knowing the right people and sticking to the script, no matter how much damage you cause.
What’s worse, these leftist bureaucrats always seem to fall up. They botch their time in D.C., push policies that cost Americans their jobs, then walk right into cherry positions at big-name universities—where they’ll teach more anti-America nonsense to students desperate for real-world experience. It’s almost like the left wants to keep the revolving door spinning so their grip on power never slips.
This isn’t what America is supposed to be. We need leaders and teachers who live in the real world, not a playground for globalists and failed government hacks. But maybe that’s the plan. If you keep letting the same left-wing insiders run the show, why would anything ever change?
