When America has needed to step up and secure these waters, we’ve answered the call every time. Now, we’re hearing big talk from Europe, Japan, and a handful of so-called allies. They claim they want to “contribute” to keeping the strait safe. But here’s the twist — they’re all talk, no action.
For weeks, these nations have been promising to get involved, as if saying the right words somehow keeps oil tankers from being attacked. The UK, France, and Japan push out statements and hold fancy meetings. But when it comes to boots on the ground or ships in the water, suddenly, the room goes quiet. The threats in the region aren’t waiting around for global committees to finish their coffee. Real leadership is about doing, not endless discussion.
Isn’t it funny how these liberal governments always preach about world cooperation, but when the rubber meets the road, they’re glued to their chairs? They love to criticize American power, yet they can barely organize a conference call, let alone a naval escort. Anti-American elites constantly tell us we should let other countries “share the burden.” But when we actually give them a chance, they look the other way. They get all the headlines for pledging support, then melt away the minute there’s risk.
This is what happens when weak globalist leaders ignore reality. They want the photo-ops and the applause from the United Nations, not the responsibility of actually defending free trade. Meanwhile, enemies in the region are laughing. They know that if America doesn’t step up, no one else will. The so-called international community is a paper tiger, good at talking, terrible at acting.
It’s time to stop pretending these countries are doing us a favor by showing up to meetings. America deserves partners who actually deliver, not just chatter on the world stage. When will these liberal allies realize that security doesn’t come from press releases—it comes from showing up with muscle? Once again, Uncle Sam is left holding the bag while our “friends” collect the credit. How many times do we have to watch this farce before we call it what it is—cowardice dressed up as diplomacy?
