Minnesota has reached a new low in Democrat dysfunction. Once again, the same failed liberal leadership is getting exposed for the dirty company they keep. Minnesota’s own Attorney General, Keith Ellison, seems unable—or unwilling—to distance himself from scandal. This week, a sixth member of a Somali family caught up in a $14 million federal child nutrition scam is getting ready to plead guilty. How many times will the left let this happen before someone in power faces real consequences?
Let’s not forget: Ellison has a history of cozying up to problematic figures. Instead of standing up for hard-working, law-abiding taxpaying Americans, he’s found more time to pal around with families accused of massive fraud. Millions meant for child nutrition—stolen! This is money snatched right out of the hands of children who really need it. The left loves to talk about “caring for the vulnerable,” but somehow fraud like this always slips through the cracks on their watch.
Where is Ellison’s accountability? He likes to play champion of justice, but he’s perfectly content to rub shoulders with those stealing from the system. Anyone else sick of this tired liberal routine? Time after time, Democrat leaders seem more concerned with optics and “diversity” than with actual results for our communities. While Minnesotan families struggle to put real food on the table, Democrat cronies are looting federal programs—and getting away with it.
The globalist agenda loves to tell Americans we just need to import more “new Americans” and open up our hearts and borders. This is what happens when the left rewards lawlessness and refuses to enforce the law. Corruption festers. Criminals prosper. And our hard-earned tax dollars vanish into thin air. America is better than this—but try telling that to the woke bureaucrats running the show up in Saint Paul.
How many guilty pleas will it take for Ellison and his fellow liberals to take responsibility? Or is protecting their image more important than protecting Minnesota’s citizens? Maybe it’s time voters ask why the people in power keep making excuses for criminals, instead of cleaning up the swamp they helped create.
