Democrats are at it again. When they don’t get their way on foreign policy, they pull out every dirty trick in the book. Now, in a pathetic power grab, party liberals want to kick President Trump out of the White House just to stop him from standing up to Iran. That’s right—these left-wing schemers are cooking up a plot to use the 25th Amendment, not because Trump’s unfit, but because they hate his America-first agenda.
Let’s be clear. House Republicans already blocked the Democrats’ latest doomed effort—a silly resolution to tie the president’s hands and let Iran run wild. That wasn’t enough for the tantrum-throwers on the left. They want to remove the Commander-in-Chief for doing his job. Apparently, protecting Americans and dealing with Iranian terror is now cause for impeachment in Democrat fantasy land.
This is pure hypocrisy. Under Obama, Democrats were happy to send pallets of cash to the mullahs in Tehran. But when Trump puts American safety first, suddenly the Constitution is their favorite bludgeon. These are the same people who preach about democracy but try to overturn elections every time their feelings get hurt.
Never mind the real threat from Iran’s regime, a government that chants death to America and backs terrorists across the world. Liberals would rather side with globalists and foreign enemies than admit Trump’s policies work. Instead of putting pressure on Iran, they’d rather put pressure on the one man actually keeping us safe.
So here’s the real question—who are Democrats fighting for? Because it sure isn’t the American people. If they had their way, we’d be right back to appeasing dictators and apologizing for our greatness. Maybe it’s time voters send the left a message: stop siding with our enemies and start working with our president, or step aside for someone who will.
