Israel is finally stepping up against Hezbollah, and not a moment too soon. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called on his government to get tough and start real talks with Lebanon, with one key demand: Hezbollah needs to give up its weapons. The world pretends to want peace in the Middle East, but when it’s time to face the terror groups head-on, the left gets squeamish.
Hezbollah is Iran’s puppet in Lebanon, collecting rockets like candy—and the liberals want to talk about “de-escalation.” We’ve seen how that worked with Iran. Weakness invites chaos; that’s how we ended up at the brink in the first place. President Trump had to step in and broker a ceasefire with Tehran because the globalists just wring their hands and issue toothless statements. Where was the international backbone before now?
Now, as Israel pushes back, the usual suspects in the global elite are scrambling to “preserve” a fragile ceasefire with Iran. Funny how world leaders get nervous when someone stands up to the bullies. Why is it a problem if Israel demands that a terror group disarm? Or is it just an issue when America and its allies stand strong? The hypocrisy is staggering—the left claims to oppose violence but never wants to confront it.
Weakness only fuels the fire. If the liberal world order had its way, Israel would just keep turning the other cheek while Iranian proxies rain missiles on their cities. Thankfully, Netanyahu has the guts to do what needs to be done. Lebanon can’t have one foot in the United Nations and the other knee-deep in Iranian-sponsored terrorism.
Will the left ever realize that peace only comes through strength? Or will they keep pretending that talking with terrorists is a “solution,” while Israel—and America—pay the price for globalist cowardice?
