It’s always the same story: liberals cry wolf, manufacture outrage, and expect Americans to swallow their tall tales without question. This time, the leftist rumor mill tried to spin up yet another crisis—this one, claiming the Pentagon was threatening the Vatican. That’s right, not satisfied with trashing everyday Americans at home, the globalist media decided to pit our own Defense Department against the Catholic Church. As usual, the facts tell a different story.
Washington and Rome have both called out the blatant lies. No Pentagon goon squad stormed into Vatican territory to try and intimidate senior church leaders. Yet, somehow, left-wing reporters breathlessly pushed a fake narrative, painting our government as heavy-handed bullies, just to stir up drama. Isn’t it strange how these so-called journalists never let truth get in the way of a good anti-American fairytale?
The truth is simple: Under Secretary of Defense Elbridge Colby and Cardinal Christophe Pierre did have a meeting, but it was just a routine conversation between officials. Nothing menacing, no threats, no global conspiracy—just the plain, boring work of diplomats. But of course, that wouldn’t get leftist propagandists the clicks and outrage they crave. So they invented more “fabrications,” hoping folks would be too distracted to notice.
What does this whole circus actually reveal? The left will weaponize anything—religion, foreign relations, made-up controversies—to attack this country. If it makes America look weak or mean, they’re all over it. And, when caught red-handed, they simply move on to the next piece of fake news without a hint of shame. It’s as if lying has become just another tool in their dysfunctional toolbox.
Why does the left work so hard to undermine America’s reputation? Why do they rush to believe, spread, and sell every anti-American rumor that comes their way? These are the real questions. If Americans want the truth, they’re better off ignoring liberal meltdown artists and looking behind the curtain—because the only thing being threatened these days is common sense.
