Twenty-seven children drowned at Camp Mystic, and only now are the Texas Rangers stepping in to investigate. For too long, government officials sat on their hands while a whole camp of young girls paid the ultimate price. The parents who lost their daughters rightfully want justice, so they’re suing six bureaucrats from the Department of State Health Services. These officials were supposed to protect our kids—not turn a blind eye when lives were on the line.

Let’s not pretend this tragedy just happened out of nowhere. Year after year, the same out-of-touch liberal elites who run our public agencies act like rules and paperwork mean more than real safety. Instead of doing the hard work—like getting their boots on the ground and checking if these camps were safe—they found excuses, hid behind red tape, or just ignored basic warnings. And when disaster struck, who was left to pick up the pieces? Regular American families.

We hear endless talk from the left about “protecting our children” while they push dangerous agendas in schools, but when actual danger is staring them in the face, they freeze. The hypocrisy is obvious. These are the same people who think parents shouldn’t have a say in their kids’ education or health, yet now expect us to trust them to keep camps safe? Give me a break.

Globalist priorities, like pushing DEI policies, always seem to come first while common sense gets tossed in the trash.
