He didn’t clear the air. He turned into the bully he claims to despise—and lashed out at a local paper just for daring to do its job.
Here’s what happened: A serious investigation is underway about Moore’s military career. The whispers are getting louder—did Moore exaggerate his time in Afghanistan? Were his military achievements pumped up by friends in high places just to make him look good for politics? These claims aren’t coming from conservatives, either. Even the left-leaning Baltimore Sun has started digging, and instead of accountability, Moore’s office threatened them. His team warned reporters that they’d smear the paper’s name from coast to coast if they didn’t pull back. This is how liberals behave when the truth gets too close for comfort.
Let’s not pretend Moore’s actions are unusual for Democrats. Remember Richard Blumenthal? He lied about serving in Vietnam. Liberals shrugged and voted for him anyway. The base doesn’t care about honesty or honor; they care about winning and power. If Moore’s supporters would throw their own grandmother under the bus for a little more control, what do you think they’ll do when their golden boy gets caught in a lie?
But the icing on the cake has to be Moore’s laughable claim that the Baltimore Sun is somehow a “right-wing” paper just because they’re investigating a Democrat. That’s rich. The Sun has been a reliable mouthpiece for the left for years—now, suddenly, they’re too conservative for Moore whenever they refuse to fall in line. This is the definition of liberal hypocrisy: attack your own allies the moment they stop covering for you.
Wes Moore’s whole image is starting to unravel, and he’s panicking. Voters should be paying close attention. If he can’t answer simple questions about his past without threatening reporters, what would he do in the White House? Maybe it’s time for Moore to learn that bullying the press isn’t leadership—it’s cowardice. Is this really the best the Democrats have to offer for 2028?
