Biden labor secretary accused of silencing abused female staffers shocking double standard exposed

Once again, the so-called champions of women and workplace fairness—the left—are tripping over their own double standards. The latest disgrace comes right out of Washington, where Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer, a Democrat mouthpiece, is facing some very ugly allegations. Female staffers claim they were punished, not protected, after daring to speak up about sexual abuse connected to Chavez-DeRemer’s own husband. It reads like a script Hollywood would love—if only it was a Republican in the hot seat.

Liberals love to wag their fingers at conservatives, screaming about “believe all women.” But when one of their darlings gets called out, what do we get? Crickets. Instead of doing her job and standing up for her staff, this government official allegedly unleashed retaliation. That’s right—female staffers brave enough to report sexual wrongdoing say they were targeted and silenced. Isn’t that exactly what the left claims to fight against?

It gets better—or worse, depending on your sense of outrage. The complaints also say Chavez-DeRemer made her underlings do personal chores for her. That’s classic abuse of power, the kind you expect from elites who think rules are for everyone else. While the Biden administration lectures us about equity and worker rights, their own labor secretary allegedly turns staff into her personal servants.

This is the natural result of liberal hypocrisy and the rot that sets in when officials are more focused on image than integrity. These are not small accusations. These are civil rights complaints from women who work inside the very agency that’s supposed to protect them. Yet don’t hold your breath waiting for CNN or The New York Times to run wall-to-wall coverage. The left only cares about “believe all women” when it hurts their enemies—not when it exposes their own failures.

If the roles were reversed, every conservative in America knows this would be a front-page scandal. Where’s the accountability? Where’s the outrage? Maybe next time the Biden team blathers on about dignity and respect in the workplace, they should start by cleaning up their own backyard.
