It’s official: the left’s war on faith and family is alive and well. Just look at the latest pitiful example—a so-called Democratic influencer who has built her brand, not on inspiring her followers, but on mocking her own mother’s Christian faith for internet clout. It’s sick, but hardly surprising from the liberal elites who sneer at everything good, wholesome, and American.
This woman, Angie “Pumps” Sullivan, jumped on her podcast to air out her family drama for the world to see. Her mother dared to invite her to church and dinner, hoping for some family time. Instead of gratitude, Sullivan snapped and whined that she couldn’t sit through church unless it became a rally for every left-wing cause under the sun—gun control, protests, foreign activism, you name it. Apparently, just worshiping God or joining her mother in prayer is unthinkable unless it matches her progressive politics. For folks like Sullivan, faith is only acceptable if it’s weaponized for the woke mob.
The story doesn’t stop at her outrage over a church invitation. Sullivan even took offense at being told not to bring her dogs to dinner, treating this as a personal attack. What do you expect from the wealthy, urban liberals who think every family gathering needs to be a cultural battlefield? Her mother tried to start a prayer reminding everyone of Jesus’s love, only for Sullivan to lash out even more. Imagine resenting your mom for praying for you. That’s the depth of leftist narcissism.
Of course, she’s already plotting her next spectacle—planning to hijack future family prayers with her own woke sermon, scripted by her leftist co-host. They can’t stand even the smallest glimmers of traditional values. It’s not enough for the left to disagree—they have to dominate, to mock, to tear down every last tradition Americans hold dear. Their endless bitterness turns every holiday into a circus, just so they can feel superior.
The real tragedy is that these women—wealthy, privileged, white, city-dwelling liberals—are fast becoming the face of the Democrat Party. They don’t cherish faith, family, or the blessings of living in America. They’re miserable, and they want everyone else to be miserable too. Maybe one day, Sullivan will realize what she’s lost when prayer is gone and her family no longer asks her to dinner. Until then, the rest of us will keep our Bibles, say grace, and be thankful we aren’t living in their world of bitterness and contempt.
If the future is run by this crowd, who’s going to save the family dinner table from becoming just another battleground for the radical left?
