It’s happening yet again. The Biden administration, pushed by radical leftist policies, is tying the hands of our immigration officers and leaving everyday Americans to pick up the pieces. After Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was forced out of Minnesota, ICE arrests of illegal border crossers have collapsed — fewer than 1,000 migrants are booked in per day now. That’s a drop so steep, it’s essentially an open invitation for anyone who wants to break our laws and waltz into this country.
And here’s the real kicker: with the professionals sidelined, the bad guys are getting bolder. While ICE’s ability to round up illegal immigrants has tanked, arrests for criminal activity are exploding. Think about what that means. When the left chases ICE out, criminal elements fill the void. More drug runners, gangsters, and human traffickers get a free pass. The liberals love to talk big about compassion and “sanctuary,” but the reality is this — their policies only put American families in greater danger.
It’s astonishing how disconnected these globalist politicians are from real life. Safe from the consequences in their security-guarded homes, they cheer on decisions that grind border enforcement to a halt. But meanwhile, in regular towns across Minnesota and beyond, parents are left to worry about who’s lurking in their neighborhoods. There’s nothing “compassionate” about letting criminals slip through the cracks, especially when our own laws are being shredded.
This is what happens when open-borders ideology is allowed to trump common sense. The left is obsessed with virtue signaling to foreign lobbyists and activist groups, but they have zero interest in protecting American citizens. ICE agents are some of the bravest people we have, risking their necks every day — and for what? To have their authority undermined by politicians who love photo ops but never have to deal with the fallout when violent offenders slip through.
Minnesota just learned the hard way what happens when the left gets its way. Law-abiding Americans are paying the price. When will Democrats admit their reckless policies are a failure? How many more innocent people have to suffer before our leaders put American families first?
