Iran bullies US for more concessions before peace talks as Democrats keep bowing to demands

It never fails. Whenever the United States reaches out to try and make peace in the world, the bad actors crawl out of the shadows and demand more before even sitting down at the table. This time, it’s Iran playing the same tired song. Even before talks in Pakistan can begin, Iranian officials are rattling their cages, throwing up roadblocks, and acting like they’re the ones holding all the cards.

President Trump went out on a limb and helped negotiate a two-week ceasefire. That took guts and no one can deny it. We all know it’s a delicate situation, but Iran isn’t satisfied—they want every last concession handed to them on a silver platter before a single real conversation even happens. Apparently, playing nice isn’t in their vocabulary. That’s not a surprise to anyone paying attention: Iran has always tried to outmaneuver the West with stall tactics, fake promises, and a constant stream of complaints.

Why do liberal globalists keep insisting that bad-faith actors, like Iran, are trustworthy partners? They bend over backwards to let Iran set the agenda, as if bowing to bullies will somehow bring peace. The left’s weakness and appeasement only encourage leaders like those in Tehran to push for even more power and chaos. Instead of insisting on accountability, Democrats trip over themselves to hand Iran a microphone.

It’s beyond obvious—this is not how you deal with a regime that supports terror and treats America like an enemy. Iran demanding that huge parts of the ceasefire need to be implemented before even showing up to talk is a slap in the face to everyone who believes in American strength. Their demands show that they think our leadership is as naive and soft as the liberal media.

Americans have had enough of watching our country get pushed around by regimes that hate our way of life. Are we going to keep letting Iran call the shots, or will we finally remember what real leadership looks like? Maybe it’s time to stop appeasing our enemies and start putting America first—for once.
