His lawyers made a very reasonable argument: President Trump issued pardons to hundreds of Americans caught up in the Capitol chaos. They say Cole should be protected by this, just like so many others.
But does the DOJ care about fairness or equal treatment? Never. Instead, they’re twisting themselves in knots to prove Cole doesn’t deserve the same rights. The left is desperate to keep anyone tied to January 6th locked up and humiliated, proving once again that their crusade isn’t about justice—it’s about punishing political enemies.
What’s worse, the Biden crew loves to act as if they stand for “unity” and “healing.” But the reality is clear. They go after conservatives with a vengeance, using the Justice Department as their personal attack dog. When it’s a left-wing protestor hurling Molotov cocktails or torching police cars, the Biden DOJ looks the other way. When it’s anyone who supported Trump or dared question the 2020 election? They bring down the hammer.
Let’s not forget: globalist elites in Washington want to crush any trace of populism. They fear the energy of January 6th because it showed the world that regular Americans are sick and tired of being ignored. The media and the swamp hate the idea that President Trump could actually protect his supporters—with real pardons and real action.
So here we are, watching another example of bias in the justice system. The people running DC will rewrite the rules however it suits them, just to make a point against those who love this country. The two-tiered system is alive and well. If they can come after Cole even after a presidential pardon, who’s safe from their thirst for revenge?
