It looks like the Democrat dynasty in California is finally starting to eat its own. Nancy Pelosi, the queen bee of San Francisco elitism, has turned on fellow Democrat Eric Swalwell. Why? Because now, even the left can’t ignore the massive sexual assault allegations piling up against him.
Swalwell, well-known for his endless grandstanding and anti-Trump meltdowns, apparently thought he was untouchable. That’s what happens when you spend years with the liberal media covering for your every blunder. But now, as his run for California governor begins, the accusations have gotten so bad that even Pelosi is scrambling for damage control. Talk about hypocrisy. When it was Republicans under fire, Pelosi and her friends demanded heads on spikes. But when it’s one of their own, suddenly they want to quietly sweep it under the rug until the problem is too obvious to ignore.
It’s no secret California politics has become a dirty circus. The same people who shout the loudest about “believing all women” are caught protecting their political pals—until the buzz becomes a roar. The Democratic machine is all about power and image, not truth or justice. Pelosi’s call for Swalwell to step down isn’t moral courage. It’s pure political survival. She wants to save face for the party that’s ruled California into chaos.
Remember, this is the same Eric Swalwell who cozied up to Chinese spies and, somehow, dodged all accountability thanks to his Democrat shield. Now the allegations are about as serious as it gets. And suddenly, House Democrats discover their conscience. It would be laughable if it weren’t so disgraceful. Why are Democrats only cleaning house when the cameras are rolling and voters are watching?
If this is the best leadership California’s left can offer, maybe it’s time for a complete overhaul. The people of California deserve better than backroom games and political spin. How much longer will Democrats protect themselves before they finally put Americans first?
