Now, three radical leftists on the LA City Council—who barely seem to understand the basics of keeping a city safe—want to play police chief. And they’ve roped in the city controller for good measure. You can’t make this stuff up.
These progressive politicians have made a mess of just about everything they’ve touched. Under their watch, the city is overrun with crime, homelessness is out of control, and hard-working families are leaving in droves. But instead of fixing real problems, these councilmembers think they should take over the police department. That’s right—people who have never worn a badge or faced a real criminal want to lecture tried-and-true law enforcement professionals.
It’s always the same group pushing this nonsense. Instead of protecting citizens, they’re obsessed with virtue signaling and pushing soft-on-crime policies that help no one—except maybe the criminals. They talk about “reimagining public safety,” but neighborhoods suffer while they play political games from their taxpayer-funded offices. Meanwhile, the cops who actually risk their lives every day get undermined by clueless ideologues who wouldn’t last five minutes on a patrol beat.
These left-wing councilmembers aren’t interested in law and order. They’re more concerned with scoring points on social media and pleasing their globalist donors. Los Angeles used to be iconic, but now it looks more like a poster child for failed liberal policies. The city controller joining this circus only proves they’ve lost touch with reality.
At the end of the day, letting far-left politicians play police chief is like putting kids in charge of a candy store—disaster is guaranteed. If LA’s leaders really cared about safety, they’d support the police, not sideline them. But maybe chaos is the point. Is anyone surprised when liberals destroy another great American city?
