Once again, the left proves just how warped its priorities have become. When a Democratic congressman from California gets cozy with a controversial internet streamer who straps a shock collar to a helpless dog—and then shrugs off concerns about antisemitism—what more evidence do Americans need that the so-called “party of compassion” is all talk?
While normal people see animal cruelty and hate speech as red lines not to be crossed, today’s liberals seem to see them as networking opportunities. Instead of standing firm for basic decency, they’re desperate to score points with any influencer who might help them with votes or fundraising—even if those influencers go viral for all the wrong reasons. Where are the animal rights activists now? Silent, because it’s one of their own in the hot seat.
Let’s be clear: if a conservative even hinted at sharing a platform with a streamer who shocks dogs or spreads antisemitic filth, the left-wing outrage machine would demand heads roll. But one of their own doubles down, unashamed, and the media politely looks the other way. This is the same tired hypocrisy we’ve seen again and again: rules for thee, but not for me.
Americans who love their country, their pets, and their neighbours should be disgusted. Our leaders ought to represent real values—like kindness, common sense, and zero tolerance for hate. But instead, they chase internet clicks with shameless figures who treat pets like props and spew poison online. What is the left teaching the next generation? That there are no consequences if you have the right friends and say the right woke words.
At this point, it’s no wonder trust in our institutions keeps sinking. When will the left finally get serious about decency? Or have they traded their morals for internet fame and donations forever?
