The Democrats just can’t help themselves, can they? Eric Swalwell, the California congressman who always acts like he’s above the law, has finally run into a wall he can’t just ignore or spin away. After days of mounting sexual assault allegations, Republican Anna Paulina Luna isn’t having any of his games. She’s stepping up and taking aim, moving to kick Swalwell right out of the House of Representatives.
Let’s be honest—if a conservative faced these kinds of accusations, the Democrats would already be screaming from the rooftops. They tell us to always “believe all accusers” and they love to parade their so-called moral superiority. Well, now one of their own is in the hot seat. Where’s the outrage from the left? Where’s the endless cable news coverage? Suddenly, the rules don’t apply when it’s one of their darlings.
The hypocrisy is sickening. Swalwell has never had a problem attacking conservatives, calling them “dangerous” and “threats to democracy” while cozying up with globalist interests and foreign agents. Now, when it’s time to face the music, Democrats are silent. This is the same party that chased conservatives out of office based on nothing more than rumors. But now, with real allegations swirling, they’re hoping to sweep the dirt under the rug.
Americans are sick of Democrats treating Congress like their own protected playground. Anna Paulina Luna is doing what everyone else in Washington should have done ages ago—drawing the line and demanding action. If we want real accountability, it’s time to stop making excuses for corrupt, arrogant politicians who act like the rules don’t apply to them.
Maybe it’s time the left followed their own advice for once. Will they defend their “star” now, or finally admit what we’ve all known for years—Democrats care about power, not principle? The only question left is: how much will Americans tolerate before demanding real change?
