Eric Swalwell are demanding he resign after new sexual assault and misconduct allegations landed at his feet. When conservatives even sneeze in the wrong direction, the left and their media buddies are ready to dig a political grave. But when it’s one of their own, suddenly everyone’s too “nuanced” for outrage.

Let’s not forget, Eric Swalwell has built his career on grandstanding about “accountability” and “justice.” He’s the guy who loved to pick fights and preach from atop his soapbox. Yet here he is, surrounded by a growing crowd of people shouting for him to step down. Not just Republicans—his own former staffers have had enough. If that isn’t proof of how deep the rot goes, what is?

Liberal leaders love to talk a big game about protecting women and believing victims—until it threatens their own monopoly on power.
