When will Democrats ever learn that scandals always start behind closed doors of luxury? The latest drama lands squarely at the feet of Congressman Eric Swalwell. While denying sexual assault allegations, he picked the most outrageous setting: the mansion of a billionaire donor. Clearly, this isn’t your average campaign office. But the twists don’t stop there—the donor had his own baggage, being engaged to an OnlyFans model facing criminal charges for so-called “honeytrapping.” You couldn’t make this stuff up if you tried.
This is classic liberal arrogance on display. Swalwell huddles in the lap of cash and controversy, hoping a lavish background will somehow make the accusations disappear. Why go to a regular workspace or a community center? Because Democrats like to handle damage control behind the tinted glass of the wealthy elite, far away from the average American taxpayer. It’s always about image—not integrity.
The connections here reek of the same globalist rot that’s infected the Democrat party for years. Swalwell once rubbed elbows with a Chinese spy, and now he’s leaning on billionaires tangled up in sex scandals. Maybe if liberals spent half as much time working for the American people as they do covering up their messes, the country wouldn’t be suffering under their failed policies. Instead, it’s power and privilege first, transparency and honesty dead last.
Don’t forget, this is the same crowd that rushes to point fingers at conservatives over rumors and innuendo. Meanwhile, their own leaders are caught denying scandals from the safety of mega-mansions financed by questionable characters. Where are the “believe all victims” calls now? In the Democrat club, it seems that rules are for their political enemies, not for Party members themselves.
The American public deserves better than this sleaze circus. If Swalwell wants to protest his innocence, maybe he should do it in a place that isn’t dripping with corruption and hypocrisy. Or maybe that’s just too much to ask from today’s left. How many more scandals will it take before voters finally say enough is enough?
