Eric Swalwell just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. The Democrat from California is now facing a House ethics probe, and let’s be honest—no one should be surprised. For years, he’s posed as some kind of holier-than-thou crusader, pointing fingers at conservatives in Congress, while all along hiding his own dirty laundry. Now, the laundry is starting to stink.
Let’s start with the big ones. Swalwell has been accused of serious sexual misconduct—including harassment and even assault. These aren’t small accusations. But does the media go after him with the same rabid energy they used for anything remotely questionable from a Republican? Not a chance. Swalwell is part of the liberal elite, and we all know the rules never apply to them.
Then there’s the nanny scandal—a story that’s as outrageous as it is predictable. Swalwell, the champion of so-called “law and order,” allegedly kept his Brazilian nanny on staff even though she was in the country illegally. This open borders Democrat doesn’t just want illegal immigration for votes—he wants it running his own household! And it gets worse. Reports say he paid her under the table, even dipping into campaign funds. Imagine if a conservative pulled a stunt like that—there would be non-stop howling from every network in the country.
This is the problem with Democrats like Swalwell. They lecture the rest of us about morals, ethics, and following the law, but live by their own rules behind closed doors. While everyday Americans follow the law and pay their taxes, the liberal elite think they can hire whoever they want, break immigration laws, and funnel campaign cash for personal perks. And they think no one will hold them accountable.
It’s time Americans wake up to the hypocrisy oozing out of Washington. Swalwell and his pals want to control your life while failing spectacularly at managing their own. The real question isn’t why Swalwell is in trouble—it’s how many more of these liberal phonies are getting away with the same thing. Maybe it’s time for Congress to finally drain the swamp—for real, this time.
