The United States is getting stonewalled by its supposed allies, and it’s time to face the facts. NATO, the so-called defenders of freedom, are blocking our military from using their airfields and bases. It’s a real slap in the face to America, especially after all we’ve done to keep the world safe. President Trump is right to be ticked off. When push comes to shove, these elites cozy up to globalist ideals instead of standing with Americans.
But here’s the reality: when Europe turns their backs, real partners step up. Enter Somaliland—a small, gutsy country that most liberals probably can’t even find on a map. Near the Horn of Africa, Somaliland doesn’t just talk about supporting us; they actually offer their ports and airspace. While so-called sophisticated nations play games, this proud nation says yes to America.
Why does this matter? Somaliland sits right next to some of the world’s most important sea lanes. Global shipping, energy supplies, and world security pass through these waters every single day. While the left obsesses over diplomatic feelings and virtue-signaling, serious nations know power is what keeps the world safe. Giving the U.S. a foothold in this region means keeping dangerous threats in check—something paper-pushers in Brussels clearly don’t get.
It’s a sad day when America’s strength depends on leaders who are afraid to make a move without the globalist crowd’s blessing. The Biden administration, obsessed with appeasing international critics, leaves us flat-footed. Meanwhile, President Trump looks for new allies wherever they actually exist. Somaliland understands what so many pampered Western nations have forgotten—real security takes guts and loyalty, not endless debates and empty promises.
Liberals can whine about history or wring their hands about so-called norms. But here’s the truth—the world is dangerous, and America needs to protect its interests. If our “friends” in NATO want to play politics, let them. Somaliland is on the table, and it’s time to place America first. Who needs fair-weather friends when real allies are ready to stand tall beside us?
