The Washington swamp is at it again, and this time, Democrat Eric Swalwell takes center stage. The House Ethics Committee just announced it’s digging into shocking allegations—Swalwell is accused of sexual misconduct with one of his own staffers. This is the same California liberal who’s constantly pointing fingers at conservatives, acting holier-than-thou while hiding messes of his own.
It’s always the ones shouting the loudest about “accountability” who end up exposed for what they truly are. Forget “believe all women”—apparently that only applies when liberals are trying to take down a conservative. Now, one of their own is caught in a scandal, and the left-wing media is scrambling to cover for him. If this were a Republican, cameras would be camped outside his door, and Democrats would be crying for his resignation before sunrise.
Let’s not pretend this is the first time Swalwell’s ethics have been in question. We all know about his cozy relationship with Chinese spies, yet he still sits on important committees making decisions for America. How many warnings do Democrat leaders need before they admit their own are the real security risk? How many times will they defend the indefensible, just to save one of their own from public humiliation?
Liberals love to preach about “protecting women” and “workplace respect,” but apparently those words are just for show. Behind the scenes, their champion of moral superiority is the one knee-deep in controversy. If they actually cared about values and truth, Democrats would demand answers and demand them fast. Instead, they act like nothing’s happened as long as the guilty party votes the “right” way.
So here’s the question: how many double standards does the left get before everyday Americans have enough? While Swalwell continues to walk the halls of Congress under a cloud of disgrace, regular folks are expected to trust these people with our country’s future. The time for blind faith is over—maybe it’s time to finally clean house in D.C.
