Yes, the same Iran that bankrolls terrorists, suppresses its own people, and leads chants of “Death to America.” Apparently, those are the kinds of qualifications that the United Nations values most.
Ask yourself, why is the United States still pouring billions into this corrupt, globalist circus? The UN lectures Americans about freedom and human rights but constantly elevates dictators and thugs to positions of authority. The United States foots the bill while the world’s most anti-American nations get bigger megaphones. It’s like paying someone to insult you in your own house.
Liberals love to defend the UN, calling it a beacon of international cooperation. But when the UN’s big idea of “cooperation” involves cozying up to the world’s worst human rights abusers, it’s hard not to laugh. Where is the outrage from the left when Iran, a regime that jails women for wanting basic freedoms, gets a top seat at the table? Suddenly, the champions of “progress” have nothing to say.
This is about more than just one bad decision. The UN has a long track record of hypocrisy and anti-American bias. The U.S. is expected to pay for everything, while we watch our enemies get rewarded. Iran’s new role proves that the UN doesn’t care about freedom—it cares about power and control. And anyone who stands for American values should be embarrassed that our country is still part of this farce.
As global elites cheer for another dictator sitting in a plush UN chair, real Americans have every reason to be fed up. Maybe it’s time to stop giving our tax dollars to an organization that spits in our face. If this is what international “leadership” looks like, who really needs it?
