America used to stand tall as the shining city on a hill. For 75 years, through thick and thin, everyone knew that the United States was the nation of freedom, justice, and strength. Our soldiers, our workers, our parents—people built this nation so the world would know what the good guys look like. But apparently, the left has decided that era is over, and Senator Mark Warner just made it clear: liberals are walking away from America’s proud legacy.
Is anyone surprised? Look around. The Democrat playbook is all about apologizing for our past, erasing our heroes, and letting our enemies walk all over us. They don’t want America to be the good guy. They want to knock the U.S. down a few pegs so the rest of the globalist crowd can run the show. It’s a slap in the face to everyone who’s ever pledged allegiance or believed in this country’s values.
Senator Warner didn’t whisper or tiptoe around his feelings; he straight up declared that America’s claim to being “the good guys” is gone. That’s the message coming loud and clear from the left. They’d rather dwell on our flaws and broadcast our shortcomings on national TV than stand up for what makes America different from the rest of the world. How convenient for them—and for every dictator, thug, and globalist who wants to see America taken down.
This is what happens when progressives put their pessimism in charge. They push their radical agendas, open our borders, ignore crime, and then act shocked when America loses respect. If you keep tearing down your own house, don’t be surprised when it collapses. The left’s favorite pastime is blaming America for the world’s problems and pretending our country is no better than our enemies.
Make no mistake—real Americans know what side they’re on. The country that stormed the beaches of Normandy, put a man on the moon, and took down the Berlin Wall is still the best hope for freedom and decency left on Earth. Maybe Senator Warner and his Democrat pals are embarrassed to wave the flag, but millions of patriots aren’t about to quit on America just because the woke crowd says so. If being the good guy is out of style in Washington, maybe it’s time voters remind them who pays their salaries.
Isn’t it remarkable? The only people who seem eager to declare America finished as the good guys are the ones trying hardest to ruin her.
