Here we go again. The World Cup is coming, and once more the elites see dollar signs instead of soccer balls. Now, New Jersey Transit is looking to rake in cash off hardworking Americans just for the privilege of standing on a packed train. It’s not enough that FIFA and their globalist pals already jack up prices for every ticket and T-shirt; now our own public transit system wants to bleed wallets dry.
This isn’t some accident or routine fare hike. It’s part of a bigger game, with liberal bureaucrats in Jersey playing along like desperate groupies to globalist overlords. Instead of looking out for regular families, they’re busy dreaming up new ways to turn events like the World Cup into a racket. They turn a public service—the trains you rely on every day—into a cash grab for international corporations and woke soccer organizers.
Liberals love to call themselves champions of the little guy. But where are they now? The voices who claim to fight for the “working class” are suddenly silent while prices soar and bigwigs pocket the profits. Apparently, price gouging is just fine if it’s wrapped in a slick FIFA sponsorship.
Let’s call this what it really is—plain old greed dressed up with a soccer ball. Instead of keeping transit affordable, these officials use a flashy sporting event as cover to rip off Americans. It’s another example of how our public institutions serve globalist events and connected corporations instead of regular citizens.
Trains should serve the people, not some international scheme. The World Cup should be about the game, not about how much politicians and bureaucrats can squeeze out of us. When will liberal leaders put Americans first instead of jumping at every chance to please the global elite? Maybe the next big sporting event they’ll start charging $20 just to sit in a public park. With leadership like this, nothing is off the table.
