A Roman Catholic father of four is dead in Pakistan, allegedly at the hands of police who tortured him after propping up bogus charges. This is life for Christians in Muslim-majority nations, where so-called “tolerance” never goes both ways. While the woke left is busy clutching their pearls over pronouns and “microaggressions” in American classrooms, Christians are being hunted and killed overseas. But do our liberal leaders care? Don’t count on it.
In Pakistan, you can be arrested for basically nothing if you’re the wrong religion. Corrupt police, emboldened by a system that encourages religious apartheid, locked up Iftikhar Masih and allegedly beat him to death. His wife and children are left behind mourning—a direct result of a government that refuses to protect religious minorities. Where are the cries for justice from Biden’s White House or the United Nations? Strangely silent, probably too busy lecturing us about “Islamophobia” to pay attention.
This is the ugly truth about globalist policies and phony multiculturalism. The elites tell us all cultures are equal, yet turn a blind eye when Christians are butchered around the world. American tax dollars pour into foreign aid while allies like Pakistan treat its minorities worse than criminals. If a Muslim was killed for his faith in the U.S. police custody, CNN would have round-the-clock coverage and Hollywood would be throwing fundraisers. But a Christian man dies in Pakistan? Not even a blip on their radar.
Let’s not kid ourselves—this is about more than one tragic case. This is the reality every day in countries propped up by international aid and hollow promises of “progress.” Liberal leaders love talking about “human rights,” but only when it suits their narrative. Christians—especially those outside the woke bubble—are disposable in the eyes of the left.
How many more Christian families have to suffer before the so-called defenders of democracy and diversity actually take a stand? Or is this just another price the world must pay for the globalists’ favorite game—ignoring real oppression when it’s inconvenient to their agenda?
