Rubio stuns the world as Israel and Lebanon hold historic talks in DC despite liberal doubters

Secretary of State Marco Rubio just did something the left said was impossible. He got Israel and Lebanon talking face-to-face right in Washington, D.C. That’s right—two countries the media loves to claim are “eternal enemies,” actually sitting at the same table, hashing out their future. And for once, America’s top diplomat didn’t waste time pandering to globalists or apologizing for our strength. Rubio brought results. Shocking, isn’t it? Competence out of our own State Department.

While liberals wring their hands and obsess over “complexities,” real leaders like Rubio understand one thing: peace talks don’t happen without American backbone. The Biden administration lectures the world, bows to Brussels, and lets France posture about their “diplomacy.” But when it came to actually getting Israel and Lebanon to negotiate, it was a Republican who got the job done. Rubio’s quick jab at France during the meeting was the cherry on top—finally, someone with the guts to call out European hypocrisy right to their faces.

Don’t forget, these kinds of talks are exactly what leftists said would lead to chaos. Remember when Trump moved our embassy to Jerusalem? The end of the world, they screamed! Instead, we saw the Abraham Accords and a surge in peace deals—exactly the opposite of what the globalist doom-mongers promised. Now Marco Rubio is showing that, once again, conservative leadership paves the way for actual progress, not empty words.

The liberal press will barely mention this breakthrough, unless it’s to spin it as some “fragile first step” or credit their favorite bureaucrats hiding in the back room. They hate giving conservatives any victory, especially when it exposes their own failures. But the facts are clear: real diplomacy works when America refuses to play by the weak, self-defeating rules set by the international left.

So while the Democrats keep propping up Europe’s worst, Rubio just delivered what their “experts” never could—a shot at real peace, backed by American credibility and a little well-earned mockery of France for good measure. Remind me again why we ever let liberals anywhere near foreign policy?
