New Yorks green energy dream is collapsing and taxpayers are left with the bill

New York’s so-called “clean-energy revolution” is in shambles, and it’s no surprise. Nearly two dozen massive green projects across the Empire State are about to collapse—not because of some political plot or supposed climate emergency, but because the numbers just don’t work. Liberals have been promising that a utopia fueled by wind turbines and solar panels was right around the corner. Now, reality is crashing down on their feel-good fantasies.

The hard truth? The state’s climate czars and left-wing planners could never make the math add up. They threw billions at untested technology, hoping the laws of economics didn’t apply this time. Surprise: they do. Private companies are pulling out, costs have exploded, and the clean-energy dream is a financial nightmare. Regular New Yorkers will be stuck holding the bag, paying higher utility bills for boondoggles that never had a chance.

It’s the same green con game from the climate cultists every time. They push pie-in-the-sky ideas without considering who’s footing the bill—or if the science even checks out. Globalist interests and woke politicians use buzzwords like “sustainability,” then run for cover when the projects flop and the state’s economy suffers. It’s anti-American to force working-class families to bankroll failed experiments, all for the approval of far-left elites and their European buddies.

Liberals love talking about “saving the planet,” but who’s saving up to fix the mess when their silly schemes collapse? The politicians who promised green jobs and cheap energy are nowhere to be found when it’s time to pay up. Instead, they just push more expensive mandates and act shocked when the facts don’t match their dreams.

The left’s war on common sense is being exposed, one math problem at a time. Maybe it’s time for New Yorkers—and the rest of America—to demand leaders who live in the real world, not in some green utopia that can’t keep the lights on. When will enough be enough?
