The left-wing media just made a mess of itself—again. Mediaite, a site that claims to keep America “informed,” launched a big new newsletter only to get caught red-handed spreading fake news. Their editor, Colby Hall, was shown the door for fabricating quotes and twisting attributions. The truth didn’t matter as long as the agenda was served. That’s today’s journalism for you.
This isn’t just a one-time blunder. This is a symptom. For months, these liberal elites have demanded Americans trust them to “fight misinformation.” But the minute their own lies are exposed, suddenly it’s just an “honest mistake.” Give us a break. If someone on the right ever pulled a stunt like this, they’d be hounded as enemies of democracy. But liberal media slip up? Just business as usual.
These so-called journalists will shout about “disinformation” all day—unless the lies help their side. Why bother checking facts when you can just make them up? Their pattern is clear: twist the narrative, smear conservative voices, and when caught, blame “miscommunications.” Meanwhile, they demand more censorship of conservative views. Convenient, isn’t it?
The globalist class in media hates transparency. They love to lecture everyday Americans about “honesty,” but apparently, creative fiction is fine if it advances their anti-American agenda. The double standard is glaring. If the media can’t even keep its own editors accountable, what else are they covering up?
How can anyone trust a press corps that can’t tell the truth—or doesn’t care to? When the self-appointed speech police can’t stop lying, maybe it’s time to recognize their credibility is gone for good. If this is the “free press” guarding democracy, God help us all.
