Democrats love to claim the moral high ground, but when it comes to their own, suddenly the facts don’t matter. Just look at Xavier Becerra’s latest admission. Here we have a top Democrat running for governor who’s now casually dropping that lots of people had heard the rumors about Eric Swalwell. Yes, those rumors—the ones any attentive American already knows: a Democrat congressman supposedly caught up with a Chinese spy, yet still prancing around DC as if nothing happened.
This is more than just embarrassing—it’s dangerous. The Democrats expect Americans to just ignore red flags when it comes to their team. One of their own gets tangled in foreign intrigue, and instead of getting answers, they hush it up. Becerra now admits the whispers were widely known, but claims there was no hard proof. Are we really supposed to believe that’s good enough to keep our country safe? They just shrug and look the other way.
Let’s be honest: if even one Republican was tangled up with a foreign agent, the media would be howling. The Democrats would demand resignations, hearings, and endless investigations. But when the left is involved, it’s all brush it under the rug, no need to worry. That’s the disgusting double standard Americans see every single day.
What’s worse—instead of owning up to their own failures, Democrats try to spin their incompetence as “nothing to see here.” They would rather protect their globalist buddies and anti-American agenda than clean up their own house. This is the same party that wants to lecture the rest of us on ethics and patriotism.
Becerra’s offhand comment says it all. The rumors were out there, people knew, and the Democrat machine did absolutely nothing. How many secrets are these politicians hiding from the American people? How much longer will voters put up with this reckless hypocrisy?
