New York City is under attack—not from outside threats, but from a progressive scheme that could tear this city apart. Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani is pushing a divisive plan under the banner of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) that would toss merit, hard work, and community spirit in the trash. Instead of seeing people for who they are, it forces everyone into groups, ranks, and categories. It’s more like a caste system than anything America should ever stand for.
Let’s not kid ourselves: these DEI demands aren’t about fairness. They’re about power. Liberals like Mamdani want bureaucrats to decide who gets opportunities, benefits, even hospital beds, based on race, gender, or background. That’s not equality. That’s playing favorites and picking winners and losers by skin color. We fought wars to end this kind of thinking, and now the left wants to bring it back—just with a shiny new label.
The real joke? The same liberals shouting about “equity” always preach about unity and inclusion. But this plan doesn’t unite. It splits neighborhoods apart. It says you’re not a New Yorker, you’re just a member of this or that group. Soon enough, people will wonder if their doctor is there to help them, or just to fill a quota. It’s reckless, dangerous, and could cost lives if people start second-guessing the care they receive.
Nobody came to this country for a government to put them in boxes. Patriots believe in the American Dream: work hard, treat people right, and you can get ahead. Mamdani and his radical allies want to destroy that dream and wrap it in red tape, forcing us all to check boxes for some leftist ledger. It’s the same old globalist playbook—divide, control, and accuse anyone who disagrees of being hateful.
Wake up, New York. The real danger isn’t outside our borders; it’s right here, cooked up by politicians who think social engineering is more important than individual freedom. Do we want our city run like a Soviet bureaucracy, or do we want to return to American values? Maybe it’s time to ask these liberal elites if they even believe in those values at all—or would they rather just watch the city burn so long as they stay in charge?
