Eric Swalwell’s career just went up in flames—and honestly, it’s about time someone on the left faced justice for once. For years, he strutted around as a so-called rising star in Democratic politics, angling for higher office and praising himself in front of the cameras. But while he was out there playing hero, women were being hurt. Now, multiple women have come forward with gut-wrenching allegations of sex crimes, and not just minor ones. We’re talking about rape, about abuse of power, all while he was busy pretending to be some kind of champion for justice. This is the Democratic Party’s real legacy: protecting their own no matter how terrible the crimes.
What’s even more disgusting is that everybody in the so-called “mainstream media” acted shocked as if they just heard these allegations for the first time. They didn’t. The reality? Outlets knew about Swalwell’s skeletons years ago. Did they blow the whistle? Of course not. The moment he dropped out of the 2020 presidential race, the media dropped the story—because when it comes to Democrats, their friends in the press would rather protect their power than stand up for the truth.
Why do Democrats keep getting away with this? Because they know their friends in the media will look the other way. The networks and newspapers spend every day hunting down so-called “scandals” about conservatives, but when one of their “rising stars” is accused of violence or abuse, it’s all silence and whitewashing. The hypocrisy reeks. Imagine for just a second if someone with an “R” next to their name was facing these charges. The coverage would never stop. But with Swalwell and his pals, it’s always another excuse, another cover-up.
Think about how the justice system moves when someone isn’t protected by the liberal elite. The investigations are fast. The headlines are screaming. But when it comes to Democrats, the process crawls or disappears. The message is clear: if you cozy up to the woke mob, you’re untouchable, and everyone else is expendable. Women who come forward are ignored. Their stories are buried or spun. So much for being “the party of women.”
At the heart of all this is a deeply broken culture within the Democratic Party—a culture that values power and image above all else. For years, they’ve preached about equality, about standing up for victims, about believing women. It’s all talk. When it’s one of their own, they close ranks, and the media is happy to help them keep the secrets. If that’s “progress,” America should want nothing to do with it.
Maybe the question isn’t “how did this happen,” but why anyone ever trusts Democrats or their media lackeys to be honest in the first place.
