Just the sound of left-wing killjoys patting themselves on the back.
Naturally, Governor Newsom is already playing defense, scrambling to distance himself from this attack on American tradition. Make no mistake: this is his state, these are his people, and these are his policies. When radical bureaucrats squash a beloved American holiday, everyone knows who’s really in charge—even if Newsom tries to wriggle away from blame.
It’s always the same tired excuses from these so-called “progressives.” They claim fireworks might bother some birds, or that the festivities aren’t “inclusive” enough. But let’s be honest: their real goal is to erase patriotism from public life. They’ll never miss a chance to chip away at the traditions that actually make this country strong—especially anything that might inspire American pride.
The hypocrisy is laughable. The left loves to virtue signal about “equity,” but somehow, average Californians don’t get a say over how they celebrate their own independence.
