The media and the Democrats never miss a chance to root against America’s interests. This time, their true colors were exposed over the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz. When Iran seized that critical chokepoint, threatening U.S. power and global security, you’d think patriotic Americans would be outraged. But watching the coverage and listening to leftist pundits, you’d swear they were celebrating another blow to American leadership.
Instead of demanding strength from the White House, liberals and their media allies seem to practically cheer when our standing takes a hit on the world stage. Iran flexes its muscles, and the left sees an opportunity—another excuse to bash America and blame conservatives for daring to stand up to the world’s tyrants. It’s sickening to watch them twist every crisis into a chance to virtue signal or score cheap political points.
Democrats love to preach about “globalism” and “international cooperation,” but when it comes to defending American interests, they shy away or worse, side with our adversaries. When Iran threatens oil shipments and puts our allies at risk, the left shrugs. Maybe they’re too busy worrying about “climate change” to care what happens if gas prices skyrocket or our Navy is forced into a corner.
It’s downright hypocritical. These are the same Democrats who want open borders and endless spending on foreign aid, but somehow can’t bring themselves to support a tough response when our enemies move in. The hypocrisy is so blatant, so unashamed, you have to wonder whose side they’re really on. Are they so desperate to see America fail just to make conservatives look bad?
If only the Democrats and their lapdog media could muster half as much outrage over Iranian aggression as they do every time a conservative speaks the truth. But don’t hold your breath—rooting against America seems to be the only game they know how to play. Makes you wonder: when did standing up for America become something to sneer at?
