It’s official: even Democrats are starting to admit the obvious. Their own party is sprinting away from what actually makes America great. When a top Democrat like Adam Smith, who sits right at the heart of our country’s defense, raises the alarm, you know things have gone off the rails. Smith sees his fellow liberals abandoning basic support for the United States. And frankly, he’s right to be worried.
Look at how the Democrats bend over backwards to apologize for America, chase global approval, and push open-border chaos. They claim to care about foreign policy but can’t even find the backbone to stand up for America’s own interests. Their first instinct is to bury their heads in the sand or please radical activists, instead of backing this nation. It’s no wonder even some of their own are starting to panic.
The truth is, the radical left controls the Democrat Party. From defunding the police to dumping American allies overseas, their biggest priority is making sure nobody ever accuses them of being too patriotic. Instead of standing strong, they’d rather join the blame-America-first parade and side with international elites. Is it any surprise our enemies are getting bolder and our allies are less sure of us?
And where does all this hand-wringing get us? Higher gas prices, less security, open borders, and leadership in chaos. The left talks loudly about “democracy” and “values,” but their actions scream weakness, confusion, and a dangerous detachment from reality. Our adversaries are watching, and they love to see Americans divided and our leaders wringing their hands.
At the end of the day, if even liberal insiders can no longer deny their party’s anti-American drift, isn’t it time for the rest of us to push back harder? Why should voters trust folks who can’t even agree to put America first? Maybe the biggest threat to our nation’s strength isn’t some foreign enemy — maybe it’s the Democratic Party’s own lack of loyalty.
