Liberals Panic as 100000 Flock to Open Air Mass in Africa Not Paris or NY

The world just witnessed something liberals can’t explain away: 100,000 faithful men, women, and children gathering for an open-air Mass in Angola. Not in Paris, not in New York, but in Africa—one of the richest countries in natural resources, but still crushed by poverty and corruption. While elitist pundits sit in air-conditioned studios wringing their hands about “inequality,” it’s the Church—and, yes, Christianity itself—that draws the real crowds in the real world.

Let’s talk about what the media won’t. Angola has enough oil, minerals, and opportunity to make every citizen wealthy. Yet, decades of globalist meddling, foreign exploitation, and homegrown socialist policies have left the country in the gutter. That’s what you get when the UN, EU bureaucrats, and left-leaning leaders have their way. The people are hungry for leadership with a backbone and for hope anchored in something deeper than empty slogans.

Pope Leo XIV stood on that stage outside the Angolan capital as a symbol of faith, but his real message is one liberals hate to hear. Values matter, faith matters, family and community matter. No amount of foreign aid, handouts, or state-run projects will heal the wounds of a people stripped of dignity by global elites pushing their own agendas.

You won’t see Hollywood celebrities or Silicon Valley billionaires drawing these kinds of crowds in Africa. Why? Because tech gadgets and virtue-signaling can’t replace the eternal truths that built Western civilization. When a hundred thousand people brave the heat, dust, and hardship to hear words of genuine hope, it’s a signal the left refuses to notice—real people are desperate for something the secular world will never provide.

Maybe it’s time the West stops lecturing countries like Angola, and starts listening instead. Instead of more failed utopian schemes, maybe leaders should take a lesson from the faith-fueled resilience that packed those fields outside the capital. Funny how the news cycle moves on, but that roar of a hundred thousand voices united in belief is the sound globalists want you to forget.
