Mother Nature reminded the world who’s in charge this week, shaking Japan’s northeastern coast with an earthquake—one strong enough to spark fresh fears of a looming “mega-quake” and devastating tsunamis. Japanese officials wasted no time, telling people to run for higher ground. That’s what you have to do when disaster strikes—you act fast or pay the price.
But let’s be clear: Japan gets pounded by quakes year after year. They’re ready for it. Are American leaders taking notes? Don’t count on it. While Japan drills, prepares, and responds, we’ve got an entire class of arrogant bureaucrats more interested in pushing climate money scams than actually keeping our infrastructure solid and our people safe. The left pumps trillions into green boondoggles, while real threats like earthquakes barely get a mention in their speeches.
The liberal elite love to talk about “climate change” because it gives them more control and money. But nature’s fury—earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes—is as old as the world itself. You can’t tax plate tectonics into place. You can’t regulate tsunamis away. Maybe America’s so-called leaders should focus less on “equity” and “diversity” committees and more on building tough, resilient communities.
Let’s also not forget, whenever disaster strikes overseas, globalists come out of the woodwork, wagging their fingers, demanding the United States bankroll recovery efforts, all while ignoring American families struggling at home. Where’s the help for hard-working people in tornado alley or on the Gulf Coast? Instead, we’re told to open our wallets and trust the same international agencies that can barely organize their own press conferences.
Japan’s latest quake is a wake-up call for anyone willing to listen. So why, when foreign shores rumble, do American liberals run to throw more of our tax dollars overseas, instead of protecting our own? Maybe that’s the real disaster.
